"We feel... we freak out... we create!"
We Freak Out was born after Michelle started freelancing in 2020 doing various different projects to figure out what kind of career she wanted. She discovered that she often preferred working on other people's creative problems by solving them with logo animations, explainer videos, 3D models or custom illustrations.

Being an introvert at heart, working with clients remotely was the perfect environment for creativity and self sufficiency to flourish! Michelle has always been a go-getter, doing annual game jams with bran new teams to being a first-time Artist Alley vendor at the 2024 Comic Con Cape Town event.

At We Freak Out, Michelle is the sole business woman, 3D artist and illustrator working behind the scenes, doing admin among all the fun illustration and 3D work she does on the day to day of running her business! Wearing many different hats allows her to adapt quickly and to show a fresh pair of eyes to every project she works on, allowing her to come up with different ideas and methods to achieve specific ideas or styles. She enjoys working in new illustrative styles as well because analysing what other talented artists before her have done, allows her to learn new techniques.
